Do It Anyway
Since losing my leg in 2020, I have had to relearn how to be a "kook"—to wholeheartedly embrace the beginner’s mindset once again while rediscovering the many activities I love: snowboarding, skating, creating, running, and so much more. This journey has been about so much more than just physical adaptation; it’s been a profound process of reconnecting with the perseverance, humility, and joy that naturally come from fully embracing the learning process. My goal is to inspire others to look beyond their insecurities and fears, to push through the inevitable frustration that accompanies starting over or trying something new, and to find genuine strength in vulnerability. "Do it anyway" has become my guiding mantra—a steadfast call to take action despite doubt, discomfort, or setbacks.
I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive community that encourages me to keep growing and consistently shows up with love and understanding during the toughest moments. This deep sense of belonging and encouragement continuously fuels my ambition to build a community where we can all openly celebrate the humanity found in both our struggles and triumphs alike. Together, we can create a welcoming space where learning, failing, and trying again are not only accepted but embraced as powerful steps toward doing what we truly love. This is the inclusive, resilient community I want to foster—one firmly rooted in mutual support, shared passion, and unwavering resilience.
Join the union and lets do some cool stuff together.
